It's Mon, by the calendar, & my body says it is too! Just feeling a lil melancholy today,not sure y, but hopefully it will get better by evening. This past week we decided to take a 2 day getaway, not anywhere special-just to a state park lodge, our fav though, Shawnee in Portsmouth Oh. We just wanted some family time & some r&r, which we pretty much did, hung out the pool, most of the time, Dave was on cloud 9 w/ his dip in the hot tub, I was a lil skeptical of gettn in cause of Olivia she wouldv'e wanted to so... I stayed out. It's pretty non-civilized there, in fact we were the 2nd family to be in the pool both days we were there, so it was real nice, I just sat out for 3 1/2 hrs one day & 90 min the next & well, baked! We drove into Portsmouth for brkfst & dinner Wed, as the resteraunt in the lodge would require us to auction off our first born & we chose not to do that-we love her too much! lol Came home Thurs, stopped & shopped @ Jeffersonville outlet mall, then to my parents so they could see the girls b-4 they left for my brothers, dave & I don't matter but the girls are their life-lol. After leavn there, {i'm leading up to a story-hang-on} Dave wanted ice-cream, so DQ was his choice, our friends, the Adams own a business right behind DQ & Dave said he wanted to see if they were @ the office {7.30p-not unusual 4 them}, Jerry & Mitch were there, so they came over to join us for ice cream. Later on, Deanna joined us, after sittn there a while, Jerry{Nemo} just burst nto laughter not sure why @ that point, but it became known why later. Upon leaving Deanna says, " wow, u haven't been home yet eh?, that makes for a long day!" I agreed, & we said our byes, & left, got home to the driveway, & I just yelled "OH MY WORD! It's dark & 8:45p & our yard is streun w/ spoons, knives, paper plates, & orange crepe paper all over the porch. All things came together after seeing the "vandelism" knowing that they were guilty & had other accomplises-sp. Make sure you see the pix of this lovely show of graditude from our dear & bestest friends-the Adams & the Sowers. The clear knives, are hard to see, but they were all over, & we tripped oon them as we surveyed the land. So, on sunday we {us & the sowers} returned the show of graditude, we put the Adams house up for sale, the sign read..."for sale, by owners friends, call klondike 2700," if ur @ least 45 you will know what the phone number means.
